Harry Potter Mad Libs

This is the result of the mad lib that I did pertaining to the Chamber of Secrets ;)

In his second term at Hogwarts School of Snake and Wizardry, Harry Potter (Sir Ruldophus Quint) is warned by a/an Pegasus named Dobby that Leg will Mutate when he returns to Hogwarts. Besides the fact that he is still Stumbled by Professor Snape (Autumnus Finley) and Diagnosed by Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton), Harry gets off to a Suspicious start with his two best Snows, Ron Weasly (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Bryant Jackson). Also, famous Professor Gilderoy Lockhart (Kenneth Branagh) has joined the Hogwarts staff and is the new Defense Against the Suspicious Arts teacher. But now, Hogwarts students areIncorrectly being turned into Cotton. But who is the one doing it? Malfoy? Dancer Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane)? or even Harry? But what if it`s Lord Voldemort trying to make hisAblaze return?

Partially funny ;)

HSKS Charity Quidditch

Today - Saturday May 15 I will be participating in a hats quidditch through HPKCHC - all of my makings will be donated to either SPEW or Race for the Cure...

Here is one picture of a starting stash to get me going...

Additional Yarns
Even More Yarn...
Progress So Far @ 6:37pm CST

Final progress at 1:27am CST

Here are the 22 baby and preemie hats for charity!!! :D I am thrilled with how many I kicked out today!

Sadly while acrylic yarn might be easier to care for... my skin does not like it and tends to throw hives from time to time when I am working with it... I'm not a yarn snob... my body is lol ;)

It doesn't show the inflammation or redness as accurate as what my arm looked like... but you get the idea.

Anyways, I am signing off :D

Week 6 Homework... Potions!

My Originality Marker

Part 1:
Bleeding Heart aka Dicentra spectabilis
This plant had uses in revenge potions. When the flowers (bleeding hearts) are stewed for a fortnight and combined with essence of aconite and the root of nightshade, one has procured a potion that when slipped into an enemy's food will render them ill. Consecutive lacings can render an enemy to become deceased, and they will die of a slow bleeding heart.
Chives aka Allium schoenosprasum
Chives are one of my favorite flavoring herb for culinary concoctions. I love chives in tons of  food for extra flavoring. A medicinal use of chives is to slowly boil the plant in water over an open flame. Once they reach a boil, one can drain excess water and use the chives to help with sun burns and rashes.

Sedum aka Sedum glaucophyllum
The leaves of the sedum plant are used in Fred and George's WWW Stomach Malade bars. The leaves of the seedum plant are known to cause cramping and stomach pain. Of course this can be reversed with another one of their products so that you can go on your merry way once you have gotten out of class/ detention/ or any other thing you don't want to do.

Pygmy Pansies aka Viola tricolor hortensis
The pansy plant has had a well known history, from appearing in painted artwork to literary works. However the pansy's flowers can be used, once picked and washed in the water from a wild stream, when applied as a mask to the face to help clear up light to moderate skin blemishes and acne.

Lily of the Valley aka Convallaria majalis
This plant has a light fragrant smell and is has become a common addition to some soaps and salves. A property of this plant is that it sharpens one's wit and memory. It is this property that makes it a powerful addition to many memory draughts and potions as well as ones that may be used before divination to be able to pick up the subtle hints at a quicker pace.

Part 3:
After the week that I have had (and sadly it is only Wednesday) I decided to make myself a screwdriver. I don't really measure anything out... (sometime more vodka in the ratio is needed)
Ingredients:
Smirnoff vodka (my favorite, yup it's cheap)
Orange juice (I prefer Tropicana - most true orangey taste)
Lemon juice (optional, but I like lemon juice and it adds a nice bite) use to taste

Later tonight I might end up making a Slytherin colored concoction ;)
