My Trip to Hogsmeade

Since this was my first time experiencing the shoppes I decided to explore. I had a lot of fun just going from building to building seeing what was in store for me for future trips. Best knowing what to expect ;)

At Honeydukes I picked up a bit of their special fudge (it’s addictive – best to be careful). I also got some chocolate frogs; unfortunately most of the cards, I already have. L Oh well. I picked up some Sugar Quills for tougher days in class… Or when I just don’t “feel” like using my brain. And just for shits and giggles I picked up some fizzing whisbees. Who doesn’t like to levitate? ;)

Gladrags Wizardwear was awesome. They have such awesome clothing. I did pick up a few things and their recipient has been secretly determined.

I popped by the post to mail my parents a few letters.

At Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop I found some cute stationery items for a few of my friends. I hope they enjoy them.

I am looking forward to my next trip now that I am better prepared as to what I can find within Hogsmeade.

My Trip to the Owlery

These adorable little fluff balls were abandoned by their mother. They find comfort having their pseudo mom (the stuffed owl) around. They are being lovingly raised so that they can carry the post when they get older.

Don't you just want to smush them??? :)
Hedwig was there. Such a pretty owl.

These adorable owls are getting rehabbed at the moment. Unfortunately they will probably not be up to the task of any deliveries in the future. Both of them lost an eye from predators. The darker grey one also has a broken wing. They are getting good care and gaining weight that they lost do to their ailments and not being able to get prey.

Unfortunately, my owl Stig, was not in the owlery. He is out delivering my package to Hermoine Bagnold for Dueling round one. I hope he gets there swiftly and safely.

I am so happy that I have finally gotten almost all the materials needed to spoil my spoilee. I will post more when I return home... but right now unfortunately I have to hop in the shower and rush out the door (hopefully clothed) before I head to class.

Swap Partners

If I could type this while jumping up and down, that is what I would be doing!!! I am so excited to start crafting for my spoilee. I am also super exited since I found out that both my spoiler and spoilee are both not in the US. It is really cool to chat with someone in the US and have to possibility and ease of possibly meeting them... But I find it more fascinating to meet people in places that I have never been and no little about. What can I say, I find other countries interesting.
